drive down the road
After the corner, overlooking the street you see that it's empty, no
traces of the cars. Just because you think it wouldn't make any sense
to search all the area for them you drive on straight ahead. You reach
for the radio and fumble around, looking for the switch to turn it on,
then press it. Unfortunately there's only noise hissing, and you can't
find the tuning dial. Obviously the cars have long since gone; and you
can't ride a car without music - you never could; and expecially not a
stolen car... You look for a place to park and stop your car on the
gravel place in front of a garage. Maybe it's stupid, that wouldn't
help anyway, but you try to get a station in that radio - no chance,
seems to have weird controls. You step out and see that the antenna
isn't pulled out, so you do it. Strange thing, such a big antenna for
such an old radio... Maybe - Just then you hear the sound of police
sirens and a few moments later two police cars race along the street
from where you came, pass you by and disappear, leaving a fading
sound. You get in the car and examine the radio closely - yes, it's a
police radio!
