Outrage.
"Why no, Detective.. it's conclusive evidence. Don't you
see!?" You skim over the Christmas article and then show it to
the Mayor. "It's about the grand opening of some mall in
Pennsylvania in 1974. What does that have to do with anything!?"
The Mayor's eyes fill with surprise and she lets out a gasp.
"But.. but.. I could have sworn.." You shriek,
"What!?" She turns back to you. "The file has been
stolen!"
You feel your cheeks get hot with annoyance. "What is
this? Some kind of joke?!" She turns back, more shocked than
before.
