Ask the creature "What's up with this place, and why am I here?"
"First of all," the creature replies, "It is none of
your business about what goes on in this forest. And secondly, you're
here because we don't take kindly to Leanara's spies. "Spy?"
you say, almost in a whimper, "Do I look like a spy to
you?". You point out your clothing, especially your Nine Inch
Nails T-shirt and your old Nikes. "Do spies look like
spies?" the creature retorts. "You got a point there."
you say. You wonder how you're ever going to convince this
"thing" that you're not one of Lea-whatever's spies.
"Look," you say, "I am not a spy. I just found this
box, I opened it, and I landed in this forest. If I had any choice, I
wouldn't be here. I could be....at a Nine Inch Nails concert, but no,
because my dumb best friend had to go fishing....." you begin to
almost argue with yourself. The creature interrupts you. "A box?
You mean the Portal Box?", the creature asks inquisitively.
"Oh sure, the Portal Box. Yeah, that's what it said it was. It
was written right beside the little sticker that said 'Made In
Taiwan'. How am I supposed to know if the stupid thing was a portal
box?!", you retort. The creature gives you a stern look. He asks
again, "Was it the Portal Box? Did it have this symbol on the
lid?" He shows you this oddly familiar symbol. "Yes! That
was the symbol on the lid!" "Not only are you a spy, but you
tried to steal the Portal Box!", the creature yells. He makes
some kind of odd sound, and two more creatures just like him come in
and carry you away. You're kinda gettin' sick of all this being
carried around. What do you do? Will you fight them? Will you let them
take you wherever they wish? What do you do?
