Guards?
As you reach the town you see guards standing at the gate. They don't
seem to be checking anyone, just present to keep the peace, as it
were. They eye you curiously as you walk past the gate. You make
sure to keep your head down slightly and your eyes focused ahead of
you, not to draw any suspicion to yourself. The guards didn't seem to
recognize you, but who would with all the bruises and cuts.
