"Long ago this was a great land, Willow Glade was the most
peaceful land in the providence. People of all kinds came from all
over to come and bask in it's beauty. Some of the travelers that came
were of elven kind, others of the fae, races of all different kinds
came here, and there was peace.
"Until one day. I was just a lad, a few days past my 128th
birthday, when it happened.
"A stranger came to Willow Glade, his black robes of magic
flapping around his legs as he approached. With him he brought a
shadow, following on his heels. This great shadow covered every land
he walked on, every city and forrest he passed through was covered by
this darkness. Until he came to Willow Glade.
"As he reched it, he stopped to look over the land that he had
traveled so far to claim. He looked at his creature of night, the
great shaddow that rested at his feet, awaiting his command, hunger in
his eyes. But this great wizard of black did not give the call for his
dark creature to cover Willow Glade. Instead he stood watching for a
minute. He watched as the fae and kinder played together, he watched
as the gnomes and the dwarfs joined in laughter, he watched all the
creatures smiling and enjoying the sun, unaware of this dark wizard's
presence.
"Only then did he mouth a curse. From his evil lips came the
words and even his dark companion seemed to tremble in fear. After the
curse was placed, he laughed in triumph as he slowly dissapeared into
the mist that he had created."
The old dwarf let out a great sigh as he ended his tale, as if all
that time he had been holding his breath.
"So..." you say half to your self, "Willow Glade is
under an evil spell!"
As you ask the small man the question he waves his arm, indicating two
rocks that you didn't notice before. You sit down on the closest rock
and he takes the other as he begins his answer:
