Glancing down, you notice the mist is far below you, further than you
ever thought.
Tightening your hold, the creature laughs lightly.
"Don't worry," she says,"I won't let you fall."
You study her pinkish form that is somewhat human, yet very much like
a bird. Everything her, even her feathers, were a light pink. Looking
away from her, you observe the scenery. Up ahead in the distance, you
see a tree and small flying objects moving about.
As you approach, you notice that the creatures are like her and that
you are at their nesting ground. But you also notice that each
creature is a different color.
"Zandar," she calls out. Waiting for only a second, a
handsome blue creature flys to her. "Take this human to
Faleese."
Zandar holds you tightly. You think the circulation from your hands
has all but died.
Suddenly, your dropped. Falling for what seems like a eternity, you
land on a bed of colorful feathers.
"Faleese will be with you momentarily." His deep baritone
voice soothes you. Hours pass and you begin to wonder if this Faleese
will come. You also realize that it's been a long time since you ate.
But you know you must wait. Deep in your thoughts, you fail to
realize the shadow hovering over you.
"What do you want human?" A booming voice startling you.
Staring up at the creature, you swore you were looking at the shadow
of an angel.
"I cannot see you." The only response erupting from your
mouth. The creature floats slowly down, landing on the feathers before
you. This creature was different from the others. She possessed
multicolored feathers; her hair stark white. "Is that
better?" She asks. Without waiting for a response she
continues,"Do you want to defeat the dragon?"
Nodding and tring to reply, she interrupts,"I shall help you.
Rest tonight. Tomorrow shall be long. I must prepare." Seconds
later she's gone...
Reaching up, you realized that you have to jump a little. The cool
hand grasps you tightly, pulling you further into the air.
