The wizard catches Dave
Soon, he turns back into a wizard and paralyzes Dave with a twist of
his hand. He then laughs evilly. "So," he growls, "I
see that that girl had friends. Well, I have work for you, as
well..." He then transforms Dave into a snake with an appearance
nearly identical to Barbara's, except for his slightly larger size and
banded coloration. The wizard again speaks: "She collected all of
the rats for me... You will do the same, but this time I need all of
the frogs from the grounds. After this is done, I will transform you
back, and you can then try to escape your friend's fate..." He
lets Dave loose on the grounds, and sets another plastic cup on the
ground.
From your hiding place, you watch Dave slither off into the dark. He
could escape, but would then be trapped as a snake forever, and you
know that Dave would not be pleased by such an option. Sure enough, he
returns, his belly full of frogs, and he deposits them into the cup.
The wizard, smiling, places the cup of frogs within his robes.
"Now, you have your chance to try to escape..." he says, and
suddenly, in the snake's place Dave once again stands, and the
wizard's body has been replaced by that of the towering Tyrannosaur.
Dave tries to run, but the great reptile's speed is too great; the
wizard-dinosaur catches Dave in his mouth, throws him high into the
air, and opens his saurian mouth wide. You close your eyes, unable to
watch. You can still hear, however, and are unable to shut the sounds
out...
*Plop!* "Aaaah! Aaaaaaaaa-" *Snap! Grind, crunch, slurp...
chomp chomp, gulp!* ... *Buuuurrp!*
Opening your eyes, you see no sign of Dave. The dinosaur rubs his full
belly and burps once again, then sniffs the air. His head turns toward
you, and he starts to follow his nose to your hiding
place...
Suddenly, the wizard sees you and Dave, still in his T-Rex form. He
lunges toward you both, but you manage to dive out of the way.
Unfortunately, Dave is caught in his jaws. While he is occupied with
the struggling Dave, you hide and watch.
