So, if you're going to be ostracized by your friends, you figure that
you might as well get at least one good meal out of it. As you
concentrate, your neck shortens and your head becomes slightly larger
as your arms cleave to your sides. Your entire body lengthens, and
your skin starts to form a film over itself that soon splits into
individual scales. Your legs meld together into a single sinuous tail,
and the transformation is complete; you are a perfectly formed
electric-pink snake of gigantic proportions.
Barbara and Dave, only having seen your true identity once before,
gasp with surprise as you assume it a second time. The then turn and
run, as though you were some sort of horrific monster... You shake
your head, knowing that neither of them would ever understand. Still,
now you have more important concerns... first among them the need to
satisfy the hunger that always accompanies your shift to this form.
Unable and unwilling to stop yourself, you advance toward them, and
soon catch up to them, despite their head start. Easily flicking one
of your coils around to block their path, you slither in a quick
circle and block every direction of escape. You then bring your head
down toward them... and, amidst their cries for help and screams of
pain, you swallow them each whole. Apparently their taste is an
acquired one; this time, you actually enjoy it as you swallow them.
Now needing a place to rest as you digest your meal, you turn toward
the nearest available such area: the Haunted
Castle...
Barbara and Dave stand up, each looking at you as if unsure whether to
hold their ground or run. Judging by the looks on their faces, no
matter what you do, things aren't going to be the same way again
afterward; they'll always look at you and think of the giant pink
snake. They'll also tell all of their friends to avoid you, and the
friends of these friends as well, until nearly everyone you know will
avoid you just because you transformed into a giant snake and ate them
one lousy time. You don't see what their problem is; it's not like you
didn't spit them back up... but they don't see it that way.
