fly to the moon
You can see South America from your height! You fly
further outward and you can no longer make out the
continents through the clouds.
*Whoosh* oops, you almost crashed into a
low-earth-orbit satelite. Those things fly fast.
Ahead of you is the beautiful moon. It's dusty gray
and spotty. The dark side is completely black. You
are getting closer, and there's a large blurry 'sea'
below you. Or is it above you? how can you tell, with no
gravity?
Looking backward, the sun is small and very bright,
much brighter than it is from earth.
*clunk*. You should've watched where you were
going. You're on the moon now, in the bottom of a brand
new crater. Congratulations, you're a meteoroid.
"Oops, did I do that?"
With your extrordinary powers it's easy to survive
the cold vacuum of outer space. You fly up, up, out
of the pull of earth's gravity and look back at the
planet you've escaped- it looks like a swirley marble.
