It is four hours later, and your earlier door holding measures are all
but broken through. Finally, with one last smash, the beast comes
through the door and spots the bait... you. You are tied up high to a
gurder outside the castle door. So far so good. The beast jumps
towards you. It is at this point that time seems to freeze. You see,
as if from outside your body, the beast in mid-air jumping. Then you
realise the fatal flaw in the plan. After baiting the creature, there
is no plan. The cheese has been placed, but nobody has considered the
trap around it.
You think about tackling the beast. You see very little future in that
particular plan. Then it hits you. The simplest thing to do is to lay
a trap.
