THE JOURNEY
You travel to another place, just as you did the first time that
you joined the medallion and stone. Suddenly, light gone, you find
your self back in the desert, with Azer beside you. Before you is a
giant fortress. "This is Tyle Sands." Azer said, with awe
in his voice, as though this was the first time he saw the true
splendor of his home.
As you look at the great castle, the moon lights a blue shadow on
its many towers and bastilles. "Every time I see it, I'm always
struck with wonder at it's beauty," said the elderly man,
"but for some reason, it's only at night." Azer turns and
smiles at you. He leads you into the castle. "Is this where I
live?" you ask timidly. "Yes." Azeroth answers
simply. You feel a certain reconigtion of the great halls, but as
though it had appeared in a dream to you many times. Azer leads you
up a stone stairway where you come up to a hallway that looks most
familar. You then notice a young man, about your age. He shares the
same foggy familarity as the castle. He suddenly notices you and runs
to you. You find yourself in a defensive stance ready to do battle
for your life. His beautiful gold-rimmed blue eyes meet yours as he
gives you a warm hug. He pulls back smiling brightly. "I
thought I'd never see you again!" Azer notices the confused look
on your face and says, "She has been though alot Walker, I don't
think she remembers any of us." You feel bad about the hurt look
on his face as you look over your shoulder at the young young man.
Azer continues to walk you down the corridor.
"Who ...?" you ask. "That was Walker," Azer
replies, "I thought for sure you'd remember. The two of you were
childhood friends for most of your lives." Almost instinctivly
you stop at a large wooden door. Azer opens it for you, "This is
your room, you will find everything you need in here. I will send a
maid up with some food soon. But you must get a good nights sleep,
tomorrow the journey begins ..." Azer begins to walk swiftly away
down the hall, you chase after him and ask "Wait! Who AM I!
What's my name?" "Your name is Alana, and you are the
princess of Tyle Sands." Azeroth returned.
