The Children Become Ghosts Themselves
"I remember it like it was yesterday. She went to take her dog
out for a walk one morning and never came back."
Suddenly they heard a fierce howl come from behind them. When they
turned around a large translucent dog appeared.
"Leaping Lizards!" cried Dave, "Isn't that
Fluffy?!"
"It is Fluffy!" you say, "Jane's Dog!"
Dave, Barbara and you play with Fluffy until night fall. Suddenly you
hear your mother's voice calling your name. She is with Dave and
Barbara's parents.
"I'm here!" you cry as they walk toward you. But they don't
seem to notice you.
"I see their bikes, they must be around here somewhere,"
says your mother apprehensively. They walk quickly toward the three of
you. But as much as you call they don't seem to notice. They seem to
walk right through you.
"Hmmm... I just felt the strangest chill," says Dave's
father.
The blast from the ghost cannon catches the children in mid-stride.
"OH!" said Barbara, "I think one of the ghosts is my
Aunt Jane, but she disapeared 3 years ago.
