His shoes off, and yours as well, you are lead by Nick to a room to
the right of the entrance. You sit in a chair covered by a rough
fabric and he makes himself comfortable in a similar chair.
A young maidservant comes in carrying a dish of crackers and wine, and
you help yourself to all of them, not caring if you make a pig
yourself. Nick is obviously glad that you like what he ordered for
you.
Next, an older woman wearing clothing like Nick, walks in with a tray
of strange bottles and objects. Nick talks in a foreign language to
her, then introduces her as his mother.
Without a smile, she nods to you and beginnings cleaning your cut.
After applying an odd bandage she says something in the language to
Nick and he nods.
"My mother says that you should leave the bandage on for 24 hours
so that no bad germs can get to the cut."
You agree and then thank his mother who doesn't reply, but somlemnly
walks away.
The next servant that comes in is carrying

richness! All around you are rugs of dark colors, and vases full of
parfumes and wines. Candles are used to light the entryway, and all
around you servants make a mad dash to help Nick take off his shoes.
