There are no giant mutant gerbils in Xanth. Especially after Nimby
the donkey went through Xanth, and through that overthrew the
domination of the demon Jupiter. There was a new Goddess, and there
was X(A/N)th, but never any giant mutant gerbils. There were voles,
wiggles, diggles, and so on, but these weren't giant mutant gerbils.
There was only one mentioned unicorn, riding with Ann Mare of Magician
Humphrey's first meeting.
