"Damon!! Damon!!" I yell catching up to him.
"What else do you want from me?" he asks turning
to me.
"Listen, I can understand the pain you must go
through every single day knowing that your father
could be in anyone's body and trying to find you.
I am sorry, but running away from it isn't going
to help."
"Well, what's he suppose to do, huh?" Veza, the
fly, asked landing on my shoulder.
"Well, I don't quite know, but if Damon will help
me get my memory back and my body back than I'll
help him to get away from his father forever."
"Damon, don't listen to her. She's probably
faking everything," she said flying back over to
Damon.
"Are you Damon?" a peasant in the street asked him.
"Yes," he said not sure whether he should've
admitted to that or not.
"Here you go," the peasant said handing him an
envelope and walking off.
"Don't open it," Veza warned.
"But I have to," he said opening it.
"Well, what does it say?" I asked persistantly.
"It's from a friend, Lance. He's in trouble," he
explained still reading the letter.
"Can't we just deal with one problem at a time?" I
asked unwillingly.
"No. Listen, whoever you are, you may be helping
Damon, but that doesn't mean that we're going to
rearrange our lives so that you will have a
comfortable schedule. Understand?" Veza asked.
"Chill, okay? I mean, talk about psyching," I
said with a roll of my eyes.
"Okay, you two. Follow me," Damon said leading
us back into his room. He looked through some
books and finally found what he was looking for.
He cut a lock of my hair, his hair, and Veza's
(as soon as she turned back into a human of
course). Then he put the hair into a small
test tube like container."Here," he said handing
it to me.
"Me?" I asked holding it in my hand.
"Only your magic will work here. Like, hello!"
Veza said with a roll of her eyes.
"Have you read your profile?" Damon asks.
"Profile?" I asked cluelessly.
"In the book," he said pointing to the book in
my hand.
"Oh, no," I admitted.
"Well, look," he said opening the book to my page.
There I was. A picture of actually two people. A
very sensative looking eleve year old and then
another picture that showed a girl around fourteen.
"That's me?" I asked.
"No, the tooth fairy, you ditz," Veza said with a
sigh.
"Now, just perform the spell and we'll be on our
way to see Lance and the faster this will all
get over with," Damon explained.
"Well, okay," I said looking at the spell. We all
held hands and I recited. "Old spirits from the
west and east, take us to Ambudabi's many suites."
Before I knew it, I was concentrating hard and
my eyes were closed and there was wind flying into
my face. Then I felt as if it all stopped...
