Where's Dave?
You look over your shoulder to where Dave was previously standing, but
he's gone. All that remains is his bike, which is laying on the dark
grey pavement of the drive-way, it's front wheel spinning rapidly.
Babara asks you, "Where's Dave?"
You sense fear in her voice, which you secretely share. However, you
must remain strong, eventhough your secretly wishing you were at home
with your teddy bear, Whistles.
"Come on" You say to Barbara, "i'm sure he's around
here somewhere"
You begin walking towards the castle in search of Dave. Barbara
follows close behind you, but not close enough to see that your knees
are trembling with fear. Fear which is enhanced by a foul smell
lingering in the air...
You frantically try to convince Barbara not to enter: telling her she
can't go in on her own, because if something happened to her, you
would never forgive yourself. You're relieved when she says she has
better things to do any way, and she turns to exit the grounds...
