Barbara meets a wizard
Barbara left the boys behind and started to go through the casle's
garden. A frog mysteriously jumped out from behind the cover of a
magnolia bush. Barbara was sent sailing to the ground. She was so
startled by the frog she simply lost her balance. She was collecting
her bicycle from a huge grassy bush when she heared a muffled voice
from behind the array of exotic and overgrown plants.
"Oops! I'm very sorry,miss. I didn't mean to let my little
pet loose. That's a bad little Rufus! What a naughty boy!!" The
voice said.
Barbara was confused,to say the least.
"Hello? Who is in there?" She called in a shakey
voice.
"Did I scare you,miss. When you're a jumpy little thing
aren't you? I'll be out in one second." said the voice.
Finally the man appeared. And what a strange little man he was!
The two talked for a while,both uneasy at first. When Barbara
learened that he was a wizard,she nearly fainted. She got over it
though. She thought it was neat talking to tha wizard.
