Get Closer to the object
You tell the others that it's only a heater and there is no reason to
be afraid.
Your fear subsides as you reach into the darkness surrounding the
object. As you finally touch it, you realize that the object is not a
heater, but it is cold and moving.
Your touch has awakened a fifty foot black
snake.
Fear aside, you go forth to the object. The noise is louder and
sounds like escaping air from a radiator.
