Who are you?
" Well...then.. I just said that I didn't belong to you , and...
that my mom was killed by ugly vile hutts.. like them and..."
Owen was talking fast, and Ka'aroan cut him off.
" You shouldn't have called him ugly Owen," Ka'aroan
sighed." Hutts hate that even though it's obviously true."
" I got mad!" Owen exclaimed." I'm not a slave!"
" Of course you aren't, but what if I haven't gotten there in
time?" Ka'aroan asked. " Your eyes would have been in the
back of your head!" she laughed lightly.
" Don't even joke..!" Owen objected." And there were
two other Jedi in the dealer's store! I saw one reaching for his
lightsaber right before you came in!"
" She's right." a voice came from Ka'aroan's left. " I
would have stopped the Hutt!"
Ka'aroan looked and saw two people standing outside of the junk shop.
One was taller and one was an apprentice. It was the apprentice who
had spoken.
" Thanks!" Owen exclaimed, " Even though Ka'aroan was
joking about not being there in time!"
Ka'aroan walked toward the two. " Yes, I do thank you." she
bowed " Owen does have a way of getting into every scrape
possible" She ignored the dagger look Owen shot her.
" You are welcome" The older Jedi smiled bowing back. The
apprentice followed. " Hutts can be vile"
" Well, I'm called Ka'aroan." Ka'aroan introduced herself,
" And the boy is Owen."
" My name is Qui Gon Jinn, and my apprentice is Obi Wan
Kenobi." Qui Gon spoke. Obi Wan nodded slightly at the sound of
his name.
" In case you are wondering, I don't usually wind up cutting off
Hutt's arms." Ka'aroan said. " We are not even suposed to be
here. Our ship was shot down and we had to land on a hard planet like
this."
" We have just landed to refuel, " Qui Gon said " But
the service has not been really kind to us here." They were
walking away from the dealer now.
" The service is never kind here!" Owen piped up." The
only species that live here are Hutts, Conrads, and sometimes Jawas.
All the others are just temporary visitors. Hopefully." Owen
added.
They stopped at an edge of a spaceport. Obi Wan's eyes narrowed.
" Master, Our ship is gone!!!"
Ka'aroan was looking at Owen who was trying to explain why he wasn't
more careful.
