THUMP! THUMP!
You look at the hallway behind you. Another dozen doors lead off.
Different horrofic effects are on each - one all bitten and chewed,
one hanging off hinges, one nothing more than an empty giant
spider-web.
But this is the only one moving.
Scraping noises are coming from the very end of the hall. Rough thuds
of a heavy body being dragged across the floor. Pleghmy gurgling
growls come from the wooden double-doors, and the lock is creaking
under the strain...
. . . . . . . . . MEAT . . . . . . . . .
You gulp. The door splinters slightly. Rabid-Maggot-Woman is still
scraping her teeth against the door. The lock continues to squeal as
the rust on it flakes.
. . . . . . . . MEAT . . . . SO LONG . . . . . . .
The door breaks just enough to reveal the head of a giant, milky
white, oozing rabid maggot.
Then it sees you.
If you can hear her munching your bike, then she's already eaten it.
No point going back for it... better you keep this door shut, and
listen to her chew what sounds like a passing cat.
