The Haunted Castle -- page 1691

Turn into a dark corridor and find 9 doors

The corridor is darker than the rest of the castle and your flashlights begin to dim. Suddenly Dave's flashlight goes off and he shouts in fear,"My batteries are down. But...but they were brand new ones.". As you near the end of the corridor a black cat jumps onto Barbara, scratches her,knocks down an unlit candle on the table and disappears into the dark.You realise with horror that the ninth door is opening with a loud creek and you are in a room with furniture strewn all over the place, covered with cobwebs. There is a large mirror on the wall ahead with a carving of a Tasmanian wolf on th rim. Now your torch and then Barbara's torch go out and the flame torches on the walls around you light up. The Tasmanian wolf's eyes appear green in the glow of the flames. He speaks in an evil,deep,booming voice,"Welcome to my castle. Be my guests for tonight. Eat and drink to your heart's content...because you will never live to eat like this again!" As he laughs aloud the furniture in the room begins to move about and arrange itself and food and wine appear mysteriously on a table. The three of you scream and try to run out of the room, but the door slams shut and you cannot open it. YOU ARE TRAPPED!
