talk to the gargoyle
You say hello...
The friendly gargoyle beams from ear to ear. "and hello to
you" it says. "I'm very happy to meet you, we don't get too
many visitors around here. Most people are too scared, they think the
castle is haunted or something I think"
"But..." you say, "you ARE a talking statue, doesn't
that mean that the castle IS haunted? in some way at least"
"hmmmmm, true" He responded, "I guess it does, Heck,
that means I am haunted. That will explain why most people scream and
run away when they see me. how bizarre, I never thought of it like
that before... Now you mention it, that is a little scary isn't it!
"But you can't be scared of yourself... can you? thats just
crazy!" you say.
"True again... says the statue, you are a smart little boy aren't
you. well... theres only one way to find out then isn't there."
The gargoyle steadied himself, looked himself in the eye and said in
quite a loud voice "BOO!!!" before you have time to move the
gargoyle leaped up in fright and shot off down the hallway into the
darkness. I guess that answered our question!
