Suddenly, you hear a voice...
At this point while the strange voice is filling the elevator with his
laughter, you look at your watch and realise that there are only 2mins
left until the elevator self destructs. Should you enter one of the
combinations now, or wait until you hear the second escape
option?!
Suddenly, you hear a cruel laugh coming from the speaker on the wall
of the elevator, and a voice hisses,
"Looks like you won't be getting out of here for a while. Ha ha
ha! Now you won't be able to continue your search for me. I will keep
the diamond and my evil plan will continue to unfold. Ha ha ha!
However, I'm a very pleasant person, if a bit evil," the voice
continued, "and so I will give you a chance to escape, just to
make life more interesting for everyone. There are only two ways to
escape this elevator, which will self-destruct in 5mins by the
way," you look at your watch and notice it's quater past,
"and they are: you can either press the buttons for the first,
fifth, third and second level in that order or the buttons for the
second, third, fifth and first level, in that order. One and only one
of these combinations will unjam the elevator and take you down to the
ground floor. If you enter the wrong combination, he he, well lets
just say you won't be working on any more cases for a long time. Ha ha
ha ha!"
