Is it really the mayor!
You have a flash back of when you were talking to the mayor someone
was watching and left when she did. You could not tell if it was a
man or a woman, but you do know they were watching. You know, because
you were getting a creep feeling down your neck, you turned around and
they were smiling at you with devilish eyes.
As you remember the mayor had a glove with a line in it, you also
remember that the mayor has been getting death threats and so someone
is out to frame her.
