First Door
Faintly, but distinctly you feel a tug towards the first door on your
left. You resolve to go investigate.
Bravely, you place one hand on the door handle. One mighty yank later
has the door practically flying open. You steady yourself from the
force of your action.
The doorway reveals an entrance to a hallway. You cannot go straight
ahead for very far before running into a wall. However, the hall does
open up to either side of you.
Down to your left a short distance is another door and down to your
right is a wide staircase leading down.
Which way do you go?
You close your eyes and shake your head. Too many choices! Sighing,
you ignore everything and try to get a sense of your surroundings.
