Open your eyes
You open your eyes and the sensation of falling stops and the warm air
rushing around you slows down to the warm breeze that you remember
from only moments ago. When you closed your eyes, it was cleary day,
now it is night and thick darkness envelops all that you cannot see.
You feel the coin in your hand and you hold it to your chest. Your
heart is beating a million miles an hour. "Don't panic."
you whisper to yourself. You decide to sit down to try to figure out
what to do. You feel sand beneath your fingers. You sweep your hands
in wide circles, but all you feel is sand. Your mouth drops open as
you realize that you are in Egypt, the place that you wished to travel
back in time to. You try to see what is around you, but it is too
dark. You are afraid.
