The Kind Ghost
They stood in the dim house, saying nothing for about half an hour. It
was Barbara who broke the silence.
At this point, the ghost appeared. The kids were horrified, thinking
that that was the end of their lives. But no! The ghost waved its long
stranded sleeve at the monster and it...... it gave a big howl,
glowered at the kids and was gone. Barbara was so shocked that she
couldn't even cry. The two boys examined their wounds and found that
there was nothing save some minor abrasions. At this, they turned to
the ghost, wanting to thank it. But it had disappeared.
