Give in to the monster, maybe it will help
You stop struggling and the monster carries you down a long series of
halls. You see a scroll on the wall, and just manage to pick it up.
Without the monster noticing, you read the scroll. IT is a list of
spells, and one of them says "How to escape a monster's
grasp." You read it quickly, recite the magic words, and
suddenly, the monster disappears in a puff of green smoke. You set
off down the hall to find Dave and Barbara.
