It is a warm summer day. You are riding bicycles near your house with two of your friends: Dave and Barbara. Dave lives across the street from you and Barbara lives in the next block. You're all in the same class in school. But school is the last thing on your mind right now, because it's a perfect summer day.

Dave bicycles ahead of you and says, "Hey, guys! Lets bike down to the baseball diamond and see if anything is happening there."

You agree, since not much is happening. "Maybe we can get a game going."

Barbara shouts, "Last one there is a rotten egg!" She puts on the speed and bikes ahead of Dave down the street.

Dave shouts at Barbara and the two of you try to catch up to her. Before either of you can catch up, she veers off the sidewalk into a driveway.

You shout after her, "No! Don't take that short-cut! It's the Castle!"

She doesn't stop and is soon far up the driveway. You and Dave look at each other and try to decide whether to follow or turn around.
