Back Up
You heave a great sigh of relief. "Okay, good! You kinda scared
me there for a second."
"The question is..." says Dave. "Who are we gonna
get?"
"Well..." you say. "Angela has eyes like a hawk, so
she'd be useful in spotting things we'd miss. And Brick is a big guy,
and his muscle can be useful, and Wendy is really smart, which is
something we might need, and---"
"Whoa! Hold up!" Dave says. "No need to go inviting
everyone and their mother. We get too many people involved, and it
won't be good! Just one person outta be enough."
You think over your options, wondering whether it's Angela's keen eye,
Brick's big muscles, or Wendy's smart brains that would be most
useful.
"Heck no, we're not going in there alone!" says Dave.
"At least not without back up!"
