could a person go around stealing diamonds and precious artefacts out
of famous museums - in a bright red cape, for goodness sake? It was a
load of rubbish to you.]
There was a sudden tap on your shoulder, and you whirled around to see
your partner in crime - Clyde - looking alert and serious, his long
black jacket splattered with rain.
"Sorry I'm late," he said in a low voice. "I'd been
delayed."
"I guessed as much," you replied, grinning. Shoving him the
folder, you led the way out of the City Hall, towards the scene of
crime. "Come on, Clyde. We have LOTS to
do."
