"Yeah, and I'll get the other girls in our English class to
testify, too," Bridget adds.
"Oh, girls, thank you...this will mean so much to Chris and
I," Nurse Johnson says. "Only--what can I do to help you? Is
there anything?"
"Well, madame..." you begin.
"Not madame--just ma'am," Nurse Johnson laughs.
"Ma'am," you correct yourself, smiling, "what I think
you should do is stay with Mr. Anderson. Get some of the servants to
help--ones you know you can trust--if you can. Ask them to investigate
the kitchen, or ask some of the maids in higher positions to
investigate the classrooms to see what's going on there."
"Most importantly," advises Bridget, "don't
worry."
"OK--I'll go and talk to the servants right now. Thank you!"
calls Nurse Johnson.
You go with Bridget to tell Rosa your update, and Rosa asks if you
would like to stay in her room for awhile and chat. You agree, but
while you are there, Nurse Johnson comes in, looking distressed. She
tells you that...
"Bridget and I will testify at the trial tomorrow," you
offer.
