"I know what must have happened!" she exclaims.
"What?" you ask.
"Well," Rosa tells you, "Mr. Anderson has a good
reputation, and if I know him, he'd want it to stay good. Therefore,
he would've given a fake name when he was arrested."
"But how...if Ms. Fishburn called the police..."
"I was there when she did it--she didn't give them his name. She
said, 'ask him--I've washed my hands of that contemptible low-life and
am never mentioning his name again'."
"Well, I never thought I'd say this," Bridget says,
"but thank goodness for Ms. Fishburn. But what name could Mr.
Anderson have given?"
"Don't know--anything from his middle name to his mum's maiden
name. Anything from John Smith to Ding-Dong Zipperheimer. You'll just
have to go back and try to find out who's on the jailer's list for the
crime of arson."
You...
When Rosa hears your story, she too is upset for a minute, but then
she gets an inspiration.
