and Bridget were missing at the time..."
"That was me, sir," Rosa says suddenly. "When Maria and
Bridget didn't make it to the trial, I knew you were probably sunk, so
when we learned what the verdict was, I went straight to Ms. Fishburn.
She's giving us two days to figure out who started the fire--and
what's causing every other shady thing going on around here these
days."
"Thanks so much, Rosa, honey," Mr. Anderson says. "Give
me a minute to freshen up and talk to Grace, and then she and I will
meet you back here. We'll go down to the kitchen
first."
