Storm in the front door
"You brought me all the way out here to an empty house full of
spiders and mold?" Asked Brick impatiently as you and Dave walk
from the foyer into the great room. You take notice of two winding
staircases flanking either side of the entrance of the room, leading
up to the second story of the castle.
"This had better not be some kind of joke, because if I find out
you two are playing a prank on me you're as good as.." As Brick
was about to finish his statement a blood curdling scream echoed
throughout the house. It came from somewhere far off but you aren't
certain whether it was coming from above or below you.
Will you try to find the entrance to the cellar to see if the scream
came from there or will you ascend the staircase and see if it came
from the upper levels?
You allow the fact that Brick is aiding you get a bit to your head and
burst right through the front door without much thought of stealth or
strategy. You are greeted by an empty foyer coated in a thick layer of
cobwebs and dust.
