Filled with a new confidence, you hardly flinch as you pass through
the mirror. You have a sense of falling, and your stomach drops. You
hit the hard, rocky ground and a pain sears through your right arm,
which had fallen under you.
Pulling out your arm from under you, you realize it's broken. Finding
cloth, you wrap your arm tightly with it, hoping it will last until
you get home, if you do.
You help Dave up and see the most horrible sight you could imagine.
You gasp and hide your face in Dave's shoulder, who has his eyes
closed.
You and Dave clutch hands as you aproach what looks like a mirror. You
can see the two of you, Dave looking scared, looking to you for help
and guidance through this nightmare. The thought makes you sit with
your chin up and back straight.
