You don't notice the creature beginning to drag you away, too caught
up in your agonizing headache. For a split second, the world becomes
clearer and more stable. That was all you needed. Before the pain
could consume you once more, you concentrate on clearing your head and
the monster that currently has a hold of you. Panic bubbles up inside
you. You can literally hear your heart's eratic beating as if it were
right in front of your ears. As the mysterious creature digs its sharp
nails into your skin, anger surges through your vains. Your fed up
with all this confusion, all of it. Without thinking, you send an
electric shock through the creature's body. It instantly lets go of
your trembling arm and collapses to the ground.
Where did that power come from?
The monstrous creature twitches for a moment, making you freeze. But
just as fast as it had come, the small movement disappeared. It was
dead.
You couldn't believe your eyes. You had murdered some sort of feral
animal. Although it did attack you first, you still feel guilty.
Feeling worn out, your legs give way underneath you and send you
crashing to the ground. Breathing heavily, you succumb to the
darkness.
Suddenly, you feel slightly lightheaded. Your surroundings become
nothing but a blur. Your breath comes out in quick, short pants.
What's going on? Before you can steady yourself, a hand shoots out
from behind you and wraps its long bony fingers tightly around your
pulsating wrist. A new wave of dizziness racks through your head,
making your stomach churn. A creatures icy breath blows across your
neck, leaving goosebumps. Confusion, Anxiety and fear. You have now
become very familiar with these negative emotions.
