As you flip on the flashlight, red eyes stare back. Tembling, you
drop the flashlight. Fighting the sudden urge to flee, you pick up
the flashlight. The beam slowly levels across the floor revealing the
eyes of a black kitten nestled on top a bureau under a mirror. The
light turned its eyes red. You take big gulps of air, laughing at
yourself. "Hello, blacky! What are you doing here?" You
whisper to the kitten. "MEOOOWWW!"
