“What are you up to my friend?” he says in a low voice. You open your mouth and try to ask who he is but nothing comes out. You try again.
“Am I dreaming?” you ask in a squeaky whisper.
“No, you are in the land of the Willow Glade. You have been sent here to get away from your troubles. But your troubles here have just begun.” You shiver at the thought of his last words, “Your troubles have just begun.” The elf then stands up and starts walking away. Suddenly you stand up and run towards the elf.
“Where are you going?” You ask.
“To slay the great dragon.” The elf stops walking, turns around and looks at you. You stand there not knowing what to say.
“May I come?” you finally say.
“I was hoping you would ask!” The elf replied in a thundering voice.
“I am Gandalf, Prince of Elves. Now we will embark on a great journey to lands unknown.” Then you and Gandalf walk out a small door onto a path that leads north. After walking for about 3 hours you encounter a split in the road. One path leads into the Dark Forest, and the other is a path to the town of Burmington.
“Which one should we take?” Gandalf asks...
Dark Forest or Burmington?
