The fairy laughs at your expression.
"Don't be afraid of me, silly," she says, her voice echoing
musically against the alley walls. "I can't hurt you. You're at
least fifty times bigger than me."
As she laughs, she flies closer to you, hovering just out of your
reach. You see her face clearly for the first time. It is a wide,
triangular face with a pointy chin. Her eyes, a brilliant, luminous
violet, are slanted upward like a cat's. She has a somewhat crooked
grin, framed by thick, sensuous lips. Her ears are pointed and move
like those of a German Shepherd. Her silver-white hair is very short,
contrasting greatly with her deep green-bronze skin. Even though her
tunic is loosely flowing, you can tell that her body is very
shapely.
About three feet off the ground you see a tiny person eminating a
brilliant silvery-blue light. At first this light is somewhat
blinding, considering the dimness of the alleyway. But as you look
closer you see that it is a tiny fairy dressed in a shimmering blue
tunic, her wings beating as fast as a hummingbird's. You have never
seen a fairy before, and make a small sound of surprise.
