"Really?" you ask. "What do I look like then?"
"Actually, you look rather effiminate," he replies.
"You have no hair. I suppose you looked rather vulnerable, being
so small and thin and delicate-boned as you are. Thus I assumed you
were a girl."
"No hair?" you ask, reaching up to feel your head. Sure
enough, it is completely bald. You wonder what happened to you.
Examining yourself more closely, you find that your skin is glowing
faintly in the dim light. You look like a
ghost.
"Silly me," he says. "I guess I didn't realize. Of
course you're a boy. I should have known. It's just--well...you don't
really look like any boy your age that I've ever seen."
