You sit in disbelief and are able to mutter "Go on..."
Mr. Rome explains that you are an Eshu, a traveler by nature with the
powers of movement and trickery. The bell then rings and he writes you
a pass and tells you to go, tonight, at 9:27, to the Cripple Creek
Park so that other fae may be present when your change occurs. With
that you leave for class.
He explains to you that the Fae are craetures of dreams, magickal folk
who one lived in Arcadia, the home of all their kind. They could pass
between their world and that of mortals easily, and could use their
powers for the good of mankind. Then, a great event happened. People
began to stop believing in the fae, and it became harder and harder
for the Changeling Folk to traverse between the world. It all ended as
the point known as the Shattering, wheen all the Nobility, the Sidhe
(of which Mr. Rome was one) left to Arcadia, leaving the all the other
Fae to fend for themselves. This was the way it was until the moon
landing, when a rush of glamour (the power of dreams and fae magic)
came along, reopening Arcadia and sending some of the Sidhe back to
earth.
