Most species don’t think in complete sentences, so a direct thought
like: “You have orders to escort us to the infirmary” would only
confuse your target. Instead you impart to him a feeling of
subjugation to a higher authority along with the image of Obi Wan and
yourself sitting in a sterile medical environment. The clone’s mind
will fill in the blanks… you hope.
There is a tense moment as you wait for the clone to react. If this
didn’t work, both clones might easily overpower you and the injured
Obi Wan. Finally the clone grunts “Come with me”. The second guard
looks at his partner with surprise and starts to say something, but
suddenly relaxes and stares blankly. You realize that Obi Wan must
have fogged the second clone’s mind.
A rough push from the first clone starts you and your partner down the
empty hallway.
Bending one’s will with the Force is a complicated matter that the
Jedi Order teaches to more advanced padawans, but you feel confident
that you understand the concepts involved. You clear your head of all
thoughts and use the Force to latch onto the nearest clone’s mind.
