Imagine his surprise when Rayna cried out when she came in,
"Yoda! It's you!"
"Child," he responded.
"I'm so glad to see you again," she said, running for Yoda.
"Wait till you hear what happened to me today."
"Wait, child."
Pleu was astonished! He had no idea Yoda knew her personally, but
even greater than that, this was the first time he heard her talk in a
long time. "You know her?"
"Calling her, I have been for a long time."
"Calling her?"
"Through her dreams."
"You've been training her the whole time?"
Yoda shook his head.
"I don't understand then."
"Pleu, correct you are. The Force, strong within Rayna it is,
but a terrible war she fights inside everyday."
"With what? The dark side?"
"Worse. Regrepsa."
"No." Pleu felt weak at the heart. He had seen Regrepsa
before. Many beggars on the road had it. They look like skin and
bones. They sit on the ground, rocking back and forth, staring into
space. He tried to give them someting, more than once, but they cried
out at his touch and motion for him to get away.
On earth, we have a family of disorders much like regrepsa. We call
them all one general name: autism.
"I know you don't like strangers much," Pleu told Rayna as
he brought her in, "but Yoda is special. He's my master, and he
can teach you."
