The cat crawls off its stalk
Before you know it, it is sitting on your hand. "Mew." It
says as loudly as it can muster. You keep feeding it, and it keeps
eating. After a time you begin to wonder if it will ever be
satisfied. Finally you notice its beginning to grow. You stop the
milk flow and help the kitten into your shirt pocket where it curls up
and goes to sleep.
