The investigation of the house
You and Dave start slowly up the stairs, and you are both completely
silent. The only sounds you hear are the creaks of the old wooden
floor and the flickering of the light that barely shines above you.
The shadow disappears but you both still decide to go on. Suddenly, a
dark figure appears at the top of the stairs, but as soon as it
notices the two people making their way up the long and rickety
stairs, the figure disappears again.
The night air feels cold, and the house feels almost like it had never
had a family to live in it.
