"I think I saw you in the trile yesterday. Do you mind if I ask
you a few questions?" the detective asked.
"There wasn't a trial to begin with!" the man retorted,
"Besides, I have nothing to do with whatever that diamond case
is!"
"Then tell me, how did you know about the case if I haven't told
you yet?" the detective queried.
"Duh!" he groaned back, "It was on the newspaper!"
"Anyway, my first question for you is..."
The man immediately stopped and turned around to see who yelled at
him. He immediately noticed the detective and he responded with a cold
glare. The detective shrugged off the feeling as he opened his mouth.
