You feel around with your hands and realize that you've bumped into an
invisible wall. The endless hallway you see beyond is just an
illusion. You run your hands along the wall, seeing if there's any
way around it, and your fingers touch something cold and metal and
round. A doorknob! Holding your breath, hoping against hope, you
turn it.
