The Prince and His Magical Wishes
As the months and weeks went by Zuoo seemed restless, I couldn't pin
point the problen but I knew something was nt right. Ouyr first years
anniversary was soon to be here, and with all the planing for a
gathering of friends, I hardly noticed that Zuoo was later and later
each night coming home until one nite he did not return till mid
mornig, very tired and unkempt, I asked where have you been Zuoo, I
was sure you would be back in a very short while, as I know you like
to take walks in the evening. You had me worried to death. Toni I am
sorry something came up I guess you could say, with a family member
and although I have not kept in touch of late with the family I still
had to try and see if there was not something I could do to help. I'm
sorry for the worry on your part. Tonight we both will go to meet my
family. No questions now my love, this will all be straightened out
this evening. You g buy a new dress, get ready for tonight no spareing
on the price, I want you to out dazzel everyone my darling.I still did
not know exactly what he ment by meeting family, I had not seen any of
his kin since our marriage or before. This would have to be a grand
occasssion. Zuoo looked handsome in his black tucks and how proud I
was to be his, he still was such a handsome man, I had chosen a dark
velevet long dress, and the pearl and diamond necklec that Zuoo had
given me for our wedding day, my long brown hair flowing around my
shoulders, with little whisps of natural curl cascadeing around my
fac, I did look good. We two made a stuning pair, everyone in town
thought we both were made for each other. As we went out the front
door, there was a black lemo waiting for us, Zuoo what on earth, did
you plan all this sweetie. Only the best fro my love he said, and held
e close for a quick whisper, you are beautifultonite, and this si
going to be a night you will never forget. I was tickled to know I
would be graceously excepted now that I was Zuoos wife. As we rounded
the corner off main street I noticed the driver heading out of town.
Where are we going I asked Zuoo, I thought we would be going out for
dinner, or meeting your family here in town. My sweet don't worry,
this is the only way we can meet my famly and you be on the left side
of the throne to rule in my kindgdom as I have for a long time now,
via the absent time I have been gone this past year. You won't be
dissappointed darling. Only a wish will get you there.I laughed, and
could not understand what he ment but I knew that Zuoo was honest with
me and would explain later on.Within a short while we were at the
lake, the moon up the crystal lights twinkling on the lake made it
look simply wonderful, the fall air was not cod yet, and the stars
shown high about as if to say welcome to my world. The driver left us
a few minutes afterwards, and Zuoo quickly plled my wrap around my
shoulders holding his arm around my shoulders. He began to sing in a
low tone, the song more of a chant now than a sog, lovely in tune, and
I could not understand the words. I sarted to say something and sd if
Zuoo knew this he held me closer, still chanting his strange words,
and in very low and unfurmiluar tones. I didn't dare say another word,
I didn't understand but I did not want to loose this instant of love
and toetherness. As I gazed at the lake I saw something riseing from
the lake, at firt I thought it was the water, the ribble that happens
on lakes,but straining to see better it looked like a glass or
something shaped like a bubble. What is that Zuoo, I was getting
franic and afraid now, I raised my voice, Zuoo, Zuoo look on the lake,
he slowly let his arm fall from my shoulder, and within a second had
scooped me up and started walking to the lake."Whatare you doing
Zuoo", please Zuoodon't play tricks, your scareing me" I was
yelling now, and Zuoo looked into my eyes, the careing was there, and
concern for me, the love, I knew there was no une to argue, whatever
was happening was for a reason, I layed my head on his shoulder, and
figured if I were to die with this man I would go in dignity. Zuoo was
up to his waist now in the lake, carrying me close to his body, my
beautiful dress hanging into the lake, I could feel the cool waters
and they started to come u higher on my hips. I snuggled closer to
Zuoo, I love you Zuoo I whispered and he returned the words as well,
saying I knew you would be the woman to st my family free, please
don't be afraid we soon will be there, hush my darling, things will be
fine for us. With water nearly up to my shoulders in the craddle of
Zuoos arms, I knew death was coming swiftly, what would people think,
why had we done this sinful deed. Justwhen I thought we would be gone
forever, e were lifted up in a glorious golden buggy, glass around,and
sea horses pulling the buggy slowly. I couldn't believe this, was I
dreaming. Zuoo lifted me down upon cushions soft as air,the glass
inclosed buggy was warm and dry, the stars shown above when I looked
up towards the heavens, and as I looked at Zuoo he was smileig at me,
holding my hand he said, I know you thought I had lost my mind but to
try and explain would have been worst for you, the only thing I could
wasjust do it, go ahead and bring you here and hope you would
understand.
