Lil's Changes
"I'll name you Dave, because that's my favorite boy's name,"
Lil said. She did the honors of placing Dave on the tree top.
Lil didn't know it, but Dave was looking around. "My, oh
my," he thought. "There is no view more spectacular than
this." He kept guard of the tree untill that
night.
She always thought nutcrakers look tired standing up all the time.
She gave the nutcracker bendable knees so he could sit down on his
platform. Most nutcrackers are painted red or navy blue. She painted
her nutcracker purple and gold, her two favorite collors. Finally,
she let him hold two candy canes for weapons (and to make him look
more Christmasy on that tree).
